Results from water samples collected at VA Health Care Center continue to show elevated levels of copper

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – Today, the New Hanover County Health Department advised that results from water samples collected at the Wilmington VA Health Care Center last week continue to show elevated levels of copper. The samples collected and analyzed by the NC State Laboratory of Public Health exceeded safe limits in respect to copper. The notice issued by the Health Department will remain posted at the Wilmington VA Health Care Center.
