NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – Development services to include planning, permitting, inspections, and engineering as well as the tax department introduce their new web pages this week. These important and frequently used sections of the web recently received an overhaul and the newly released pages better organize and provide improved accessibility to important information for the end user.
The redesigned website for development services improves functionality and concept-based sharing of information on topics like zoning regulations, planning initiatives, and community development on one easy to use page while the redeveloped tax page migrates records searches, bill payment options and tax information to the front page of a site better organized with the customer in mind. These pages introduce a consistent and streamlined framework for enhanced navigation, resources and links.
“The county’s new site provides access to more information and new media opportunities” said Public Affairs Manager Carey Disney Ricks, who initiated this project in 2013. “After all phases are introduced, New Hanover County will have a site that provides new and exciting tools to keep citizens engaged and informed.”
These new pages join the recent release of the county’s community justice services department with additional phases scheduled for release soon. Check out the other redesigned pages by clicking on the “new website” announcement at www.nhcgov.com.
