About the Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County
Did you know that New Hanover County maintains more than 1,500 acres of parks and athletic fields? Imagine our county with no athletic fields, walking trials, playgrounds, tennis courts, boat ramps- the list goes on and on. Our active coastal lifestyle is just not possible without access to clean, well-maintained parks facilities. The New Hanover County Parks Conservancy was established to make sure our parks thrive and grow to meet the needs in one of the most populated, fastest growing counties in the state. We’re advocates too- making sure that people know what is available to them and that their support is vital.
