Remain indoors and monitor storm

(New Hanover County)–New Hanover County Emergency officials encourage residents to take heed of the warnings from the National Weather Service. (NWS) to remain indoors, and to protect themselves and their property as we expect additional rain and wind through Tuesday.

Particular care should be taken in areas prone to flooding including low lying areas and along creeks and rivers.

The New Hanover County Emergency Operations Center is fully staffed and continuing to monitor the situation.
