NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – New Hanover County’s Airlie Gardens has unveiled its slate of musical performers for the 2016 Summer Concert Series. True to tradition, a concert will take place every first and third Friday of the month from May until September. Along with returning favorites, this year’s program will offer several new acts including beach music pros Jim Quick and the Coastline, and local band Stray Local.

“We love seeing people of all ages enjoying great music in such a beautiful setting,” said Airlie Gardens’ Development Manager Janine Powell. “All of us here look forward to shaking off the winter and welcoming summer in such a fun way.”

The schedule includes returning acts that most regulars now expect and demand, including Bibis Ellison, The Midatlantic, and L Shape Lot – winner of Encore Magazine’s Best Local Band. The schedule concludes with one of the premier beach music bands in the state – Jim Quick and The Coastline.

The Summer Concert Series has grown to become a staple of summer fun in Wilmington.
