NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – New Hanover County is looking for feedback from citizens to help shape the county’s plans and policies for the future. A citizen survey is online at now through December 12. A paper version of the survey is also being mailed to 4,000 randomly-selected New Hanover County households.

“Every citizen’s voice matters, and this survey is an opportunity for each person to share their ideas and feedback with the county,” said County Manager Chris Coudriet. “The survey responses will directly inform the policy decision-making, long-range priorities, and strategic planning of the Board of Commissioners.”

Conducted every two years, New Hanover County’s statistically valid survey is designed to measure citizens’ satisfaction and to gather input about issues facing the community. Survey questions aim to collect information on how residents rate the performance of county government, individual awareness, use of the county’s services, and community participation.

All surveys must be completed or postmarked by Monday, December 12.
