NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – Enchanted Airlie, a New Hanover County holiday tradition since 2005, recently sold out for the 2017 season in record time. In an effort to help more families enjoy this yearly tradition, New Hanover County’s Airlie Gardens is adding two additional nights on Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12. There will be two run times each evening: 5-7 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday, November 29 at 9 a.m., and can be purchased online at www.airliegardens.org or at the Airlie Gift Shop (on-site sales at the Gift Shop are available 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily). No pre-sales or phone sales will be accepted.
Started in 2005, Enchanted Airlie is a wonderful opportunity to bring the whole family together to share in the joy of the season with holiday flowers, more than one million festive lights, spectacular displays, music of the season, and more.
This will be the last opportunity to purchase tickets for Enchanted Airlie this year.
Airlie Gardens is a 67-acre public garden located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Established in 1901, the garden is a cultural and ecological component of New Hanover County and North Carolina history that features formal gardens, wildlife, historic structures, walking trails, sculptures, views of Bradley Creek, 10-acres of freshwater lakes, the celebrated 470+-year-old Airlie Oak, more than 100,000 azaleas and countless camellia cultivars.
