Media briefing to be held September 20 at 11:45 a.m.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – A media briefing will be held today, Wednesday, September 20, at 11:45 a.m. to provide information about the latest information regarding Hurricane Florence. The briefing will be held at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, in the county’s television studio. Media should enter through the west entrance of the building.

New Hanover County will broadcast the media briefing live on the county’s Facebook page.

New Hanover County Emergency Management continues to operate the Emergency Operations Center. Anyone with questions about shelters and recovery efforts can call the public information hotline telephone number at (910) 798-6800.
