NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – New Hanover County’s Communications & Outreach Department was awarded the Silver Circle Award by the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) for the county’s Strategic Plan Report.

“I am proud of our team and their creative and innovative work to create this report,” said Chief Communications Officer Ruth Ravitz Smith. “It tells the county’s story through visuals and a narrative that truly captures New Hanover County’s successes over the last five-year strategic plan. The report was also condensed into a short video that helped to further promote the county’s strategic success.”

3CMA’s Savvy Awards recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. The Savvies salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing.
