NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – New Hanover County’s Communications and Outreach Department has produced a sixth public service announcement (PSA) aimed at raising awareness of the local opioid epidemic and its impact on the entire community.

The PSA, which can be viewed below and on the county’s YouTube channel, focuses on the community’s response to the opioid crisis, the outcomes that have been achieved so far, and a reminder that we must continue working together to be part of the community solution.

This is the last video in a series of six PSAs that the county has produced at the request of the New Hanover County Criminal Justice Advisory Group (CJAG). This group of committed leaders from the county and city, local law enforcement, the court system, and the District Attorney’s office are working to transform public safety across all sectors of the community to effect positive change. You can view all six of the county’s opioid epidemic PSAs here.
