All appointments for this week’s COVID-19 vaccinations through New Hanover County Public Health are now full, based on the supply of vaccine Public Health has on hand.
As additional vaccine supply is received, the county will open additional appointments to ensure that even more people who are eligible can get the vaccine. To receive text or email alerts when additional appointments through Public Health are open, residents can sign up for COVID-19 updates here.
In addition to Public Health, New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) is also administering vaccines to the community when supplies are available. Residents can sign up for email alerts from NHRMC when their COVID-19 vaccine appointments are open here. As of February 9, New Hanover County Public Health has vaccinated 11,139 people with their first dose of the vaccine and 7,469 people with their second dose – for a total of 18,608 vaccinations. In addition, through partnerships and collaborative efforts with local healthcare entities, more than 36,586 total doses have been administered in New Hanover County, according to the NCDHHS dashboard.
