All appointments for this week’s COVID-19 vaccinations through New Hanover County Health and Human Services’ Public Health are now full.
As additional vaccine supply is received, the county will open additional appointments to ensure that even more people who are eligible can get the vaccine. To receive text or email alerts when additional appointments through Public Health are open, residents can sign up for COVID-19 updates here.
In addition to Public Health, the following entities are also receiving direct supply from the state and administering vaccines to the community when those supplies are available:
As of March 9, New Hanover County Public Health has administered a total of 27,724 COVID-19 vaccinations in the community (16,639 first doses and 11,085 second doses). In addition, through partnerships and collaborative efforts with local healthcare entities, nearly 45,000 people in New Hanover County are partially vaccinated, and more than 30,000 are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19 according to the NCDHHS dashboard.
